Harry Potter is a ‘Virgin’!

The ‘Chosen One’ has chosen his mode of air travel. He is partnering with Sir Branson and his airline – Virgin Atlantic. Did Harry Potter finally decide to hang up his dusty broom in favor of jet travel? Is Sir Branson not afraid of getting in the bad books of ‘He-who-must-not-be-named’?

I think having the new Harry Potter theme park logo on Virgin Atlantic’s 747 livery is way cool. Here are some photos form Virgin Atlantic’s Facebook page. More photos can be found here on Flickr.

The Harry Potter theme park – The Wizarding World of Harry Potter opened in Orlando, FL in June 2010. It is a part of the Universal Studios theme parks in Orlando.

This Boeing 747-443 aircraft, named ‘Hot Lips’ (Registration: G-VLIP) is apparently flying the Manchester (MAN) to Orlando, FL (MCO) route. Unfortunately, Virgin Atlantic does not fly to Edinburgh, Scotland (EDI), the home of Harry Potter author J. K. Rowlings. Otherwise, they could have had this plane on an Edinburgh – Orlando route. On one end, you could visit the new Harry Potter theme park and at the other stay at one of the hotels in Edinburgh city centre and take the Harry Potter tour visiting all the spots where J. K. Rowlings dreamed up the Wizarding World. Are you listening Sir Branson?
